Willie (Peck) Hagan passed away March 24, 2012, at Truman Care Center Lakewood. Funeral services at 10 a.m. Friday, March 30, at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., KCMO 64138. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at Park Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. Peck was born May 9, 1930, to Odus and Cassie Hagan in Alden Bridge, LA. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After discharge from the Army he moved to Kansas City, MO, in 1955 where he went to work for Ford Motor Company and later Bendix Corp. After leaving Bendix, Peck worked as a carpenter and was a member of Carpenters Local 61. Peck was Financial Secretary Treasurer of his local until he retired in December 1993. Peck was also a member of Grandview No. 618 AF & AM Masonic Lodge. Peck was preceded in death by his father and mother, brother, Charles A. and sister, Sue Morgason. Peck is survived by his wife, Wilma of the home, sons, Peck A. and his wife Wendy of Lee's Summit, MO; grandchildren, Ashley and Aaron and William Ian of Los Angeles, CA; brother, John Hagan of Cotton Valley, LA; sisters, Lynn Stoebick of Independence, MO, and Greta Mosley of Minden, LA; brother-in-law, Terry Morgason and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Truman Care Center for the great care they gave to Willie and their kindness and consideration to the family.
