Lena Gertrude Babson, 88, of Longs, SC, formerly of Ash, NC, died March 24, 2012. She a daughter of Thomas and Lillian Smith.

She was preceded in death by her son, James Earl Babson, and her daughter, Janice Faye Lovin.

Surviving are her daughter, Lillie Louise Brock (Jack) of Longs, SC; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Monday, March 25, at Brunswick Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery.
