Charles Rowe and Miss. Lougarda Waltz were married at the Methodist parsonage Saturday evening. Mr. Rowe had been station agent here for many years and is popular and efficient in that position. The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Lendon C. Waltz and is well liked among all her acquaintances. Her many friends are wishing them every happiness.

WALDOBORO - Lugarda Rowe, 80, died at her home, Thursday. She was born in Waldoboro July 21, 1887, the daughter of Lendon and Maria Waltz. She was the widow of Charles Rowe, who died in 1954. She lived most of her life in Waldoboro, attended the First Baptist Church of Waldoboro and was a member of the Waldoboro Garden Club. She is survived by two sons, Charles Rowe, Jr., of Winchester, Mass., and Paul Rowe of South Freeport; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Dwinnells of Natick, Mass., and Miss Dorothy Rowe of Natick, Mass., and one sister, Bessie Patterson of Portland., two grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home in Waldoboro. The Rev. John H. Godfrey will officiate. Burial will be in the Rural Cemetery, Rockland.

Dorothy Rowe both of Natick, Mass.; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Patterson of Portland; two grandchildren and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hall Funeral Home, Waldoboro. Burial will be in the Rural Cemetery.
