Jessica was born on December 23, 1967 in Las Vegas, NM to Leroy Salas and Margarita "Margie" Flores Peña.
Jessica was a very outgoing and friendly person. Jessica made friends everywhere she went. Jessica worked for the City of Las Vegas and the San Miguel County. Jessica loved dancing and cooking. Jessica really loved spending time with her family.
A Catholic, and attended Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Las Vegas, NM.
Jessica was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ignacio "Shorty" Flores and Aurora, Ramon Salas and Marita, sister, Carmen Peña, brother, Ellery Peña and brother-in-law, Francisco Ramírez.
Jessica is survived by her parents, father, Leroy Salas and mother, Margie Peña, Jessica's companion, JoJo Martínez, sisters, Petra Ulibarrí and her companion, Ralph Abeyta, Patsy Vigil, Hilda Ramírez, Georgette Sena and her husband, Joey, Josephine Flores García and Amanda Salas, godson, Felix Flores, sister-in-law, Viola Peña, brothers, Lorenzo Flores, George Flores and Leroy Salas Jr., uncle, Gilbert Salas and Rosa aunt, Dora Romero, nieces, Brenda Lucero and Herman and Annette Garza, nephews, Abie Ulibarrí and Mona, Alfred Ulibarrí, Elllery Peña Jr. and Monique, Joey Esquíbel and Miranda Corporal and Raúl Flores-Ramírez and Jackie, great-nieces and great-nephews, Manuel Sena and Chrissy, Sabrina Sena and Brian, Krista Lucero, Fabian Lucero, Nolan Ulibarrí, Brandy Ulibarrí, Azelynn Ulibarrí and Bryan, Shayanne, Jade Ulibarrí, James Garza and Ramona Sánchez, Angel Garza, Adamina, Alicia and Isaiah Esquíbel, great-great nieces, Mickey Lynn Sena and Felecity Ulibarrí, special cousins, Rudy Flores and Carla, John Flores and Loise, also other relatives, lots of friends that loved her and will be greatly missed.
Rosary devotional services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Las Vegas, NM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with Father Douglas Mitchell as celebrant. Cremation will take place after services and burial will take place at a later date at the San José Cemetery with the following as casket bearers, Manuel Sena, Jerry Salas, Joey Esquíbel, Freddie Flores, Abie Ulibarrí and Eric Buell. Following the funeral mass the family will get together at the Eagles on Grand Avenue.
