William Henry Zehrung son of Jacob Charles Zehrung and Caroline Gettis, was known as Will. He was born on January 11, 1863, at Buckeye, Hardin county, Iowa, died on Oct. 16, 1938, at Hastings, Adams county, NE. and is buried at Alliance, Box Butte county, NE.

On Nov. 4, 1885, at Holdrege, Phelps county, NE. William married Ida Ellen Tharp, a daughter of Stephen H. Tharp, and Susan Linville. Ida was born on Feb. 22, 1864 in Schuyler county, Illinois, and died of typhoid fever on January 15, 1901, at Alliance, and is buried there.

Previously, on April 15, 1893, Anna married and divorced, Albert L. Moore, by whom she had one child.
