Caroline and Jacob were married 19 Oct 1855 in Toledo, Tama Co., Iowa
She is buried in Lot 20, Block 17 of the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice, but there are no burial records for her or her second husband. She is shown on an obituary as Mrs. Caroline Gill Rummerfield and some records indicate she married C.C. Rumerfield. This is incorrect. Their marriage license and certificate clearlyl states that he was Aaron E. Rumerfield.
At the time of her marriage to Rummerfield they were both living at Wymore and according to certificate married there. According to newspaper article at Blue Springs. Both communities are practically one. They were married by John Taylor, MG. Witnesses were G.O. Overhalser of Wymore and W.E. Doyle of Liberty, NE.
