Carl W. Bury, 85, passed away on March 4, 2012 in East Peoria, Illinois.
He was born July 2, 1926 in Mulberry, KS to Charles and Mary (Chandler) Bury. He married Pauline Bishop April 17, 1948, in East Peoria.
She survives along with three daughters, Joyce Messer, Janet (Gary) McGinnis and Judy (James) LaValle; one son, Carl (Sandy) Bury; and one sister, Millie (Richard) Brooksbank.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one daughter.
Carl was a World War II Army veteran.
He worked in maintenance for Caterpillar Inc. for 31 years, retiring in March of 1987.
Burial will be in Joel Hall Cemetery in Athens, Illinois.
