Mr. Bolton was born in Bangor, Me., Dec. 23, 1875. He received his early education there and his technical training in Boston. Sixteen years ago he came to this city, entering the employ of the Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Company. Later he joined the Bausch Machine Tool Company and then the staff of the Perkins Company.
He was a member and officer of Windsor Lodge of Masons, Windsor, Vt., and a member of the chapter council and commandery of Vermont. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite bodies in this city and Melha Temple of the Shrine. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Clarabel (Bayard) Bolton; a grandson, Richard Bolton Godfrey, and two sisters, Mrs. Dora Gray of Dover, Me., and Mrs. Clarence Emery of Pueblo, Col. A Masonic service was conducted at the home yesterday afternoon by members of Esoeric Lodge of Masons. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery. Bearers were William Godfrey, Jr., George Godfrey, Clarence Godfrey, Lester Sears, Victor Baker and Charles Perry.
