The death of Mrs. Dorothy B. Gray, 72, wife of Ralph V. Gray of this town, occurred suddenly April 14 in a Boston hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Gray had been spending the winter in Boston as has been their custom for several years and although her health had not been good during the winter death came suddenly following hospital admittance.
Mrs. Gray was born in Bangor July 14, 1887, the daughter of Walter and Mabel [sic] Baker Bolton. She came to Dover as a young woman and was employed for some time as chief operator by the Telephone Company. Her genial disposition and sense of humor had gained many friends for her during her residence here.
Surviving are her husband and a daughter Mrs. Olive Howe, of Boston.
Services were held Sunday afternoon at the Lary Funeral Home, the Rev. John W. Meisner officiating. Burial was in the Dover Cemetery.
