Lavinia C. Coker, age 68, of Acworth died September 5, 2004. Service was held in the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Olin Herndon, Paul Chastain, and Rev. Henry Coker officating. Burial was in Kennesaw Memorial Park.

A native of Cobb County, she was born on September 25, 1935. She was preceded in death by her husband Timothy F. Coker. She is survived by daughters Debbie Coker, Susan Coker Clovis, Kathy Coker Jacobson and Gay Coker; grandchildren Wesley Troyer, Patrick Troyer, Melissa Simms, Timothy June, Ashley Swenson, Cody Jacobson, Blair and Chandler Firestine and Isabella Wolter; great granddaughter Sara Eden Troyer; brothers and sisters E.W. Chastain, Ruth Hammond, Jean Darnell, John K. Chastain, Donna Herndon, Ann Merritt, Paul Chastain and Sam Chastain; and several nieces and nephews. Also by her longtime Canine companions Dudley and Sadie Mae.
