Sally L. Perry Baker, 56, 205 S. Main St., died Thursday,
Jan. 23, 1997,in Tipton County Memorial Hospital. She was born July 20, 1940, in Tipton County, to Cleo D. and
Viola Balser. She was employed at Delco Electronics and
was a member of the Tipton American Legion Auxiliary and Women
of the Moose of Tipton. Surviving are her husband,
Thomas Baker of Sharpsville; he mother, Viola Balser of
Sharpsville; a daughter and son-inlaw, Dawn and Ed Grady of
Kendallville; a brother, William H. Balser of Indianapolis; two sisters, Dixie Elkin of Atlantic Beach, Fla., and Mary Woodard of Sharpsville; and two grandchildren. Her father
and one son preceded her in death. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson St., Elwood. The Rev. Dan Coomer will officiate. Burial will be in Elwood Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 4 to
8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Hepatitis Association.
