John H. Faunce, my 2nd great grand uncle, was born about 1832 in New Jersey to Henry and Rebecca Huffsey Faunce. In 1850 he was living with his parents in Kensington section of Philadelphia and was employed as a druggist. He died on October 8, 1856, at the age of 24, of consumption. He was buried in the Palmer Grounds.
