George and Margaret Faunce had at least 5 children; Samuel Faunce, Rebecca Faunce, Norman Faunce, Linda Hentzelman Faunce and Mary Ann Huffsey Faunce. By 1888, they lived to 1218 E Susquehanna Avenue. In 1885, a portion of Otis Street was changed to Susquehanna Avenue so they may be living in the same house. By 1900, Margaret and George were living separately. Margaret was running a boarding home at 2037 Eleventh Street in the 23rd ward. Living with her are two of her three living children, Linda and Norman. The last known address for George was 1218 E Susquehanna Avenue in 1891 when his daughter Mary Ann died.
George was at 2344 E Adams when he died from a Carcinoma of the liver on October 18, 1912. Contributing to his death was Jaundice of the liver. He was buried in the Greenwood Cemetery on October 23, 1912. The last information on Margaret was that she was living in Ward 9 of Chicago with her daughter Linda and Linda's husband, Harry Scott.
