Perry C. Smith, 88, of Williamstown, passed away March 5, 2012, in Canonsburg, Pa.
He was born Feb. 22, 1924, in Ashland, Ky., to the late Perry Colyer and Emily Jane Hume Smith Sr.
Perry is survived by a daughter, Chantal Golden (Philip) of Canonsburg, Pa.; grandsons, Philip Golden Jr. (Rita) of Carnegie, Pa., and Jarod Bellville of Millersburg, Ohio; a son, Gerard Michael Smith; and two sisters, Herthia Rizzuto of Mettarie, La., and Maude Ellen Frame of Ashland, Ky.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Marcelle Renee Smith on July 30, 2011; brothers, Robert Lee and William E. Smith; and two sisters, Betty Whitman and Bobbie Rae Morris.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hadley Funeral Home, 500 Fifth St., Marietta, with Pastor Philip Golden Jr. officiating. Burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
