Bobbie Rae Morris, 82, of Huntington passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2008 in Woodland Oaks Nursing Home, Ashland, KY. She was born October 10, 1925 in Ashland, KY, a daughter of the late Perry C. and Emily Jane Hume Smith.
She was also preceded in death by
one sister, Betty Whitman
one brother, William E. Smith.
Mrs. Morris was a member of Highlawn Presbyterian Church. She worked as a Chemist for Allied Chemical in South Point, OH for a number of years, then as a Postal Clerk for the US Postal Service in Huntington. She also was a volunteer member for the Huntington Postal Credit Union.
She is survived by
one son, James F. Preston of Martinsburg, WV;
two brothers,
Robert Lee Smith of Argillitte, KY
Perry C. Smith, Jr. of Williamstown, WV;
two sisters,
Herthia Rizzuto of Mettarie, LA
Maude Ellen Frame of Ashland, KY;
several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was at Beard Mortuary with the Rev. Mike Ducheneau officiating. Burial in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington.
