Born May 12, 1921, in Ashtabula, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Wick) Nisula, and had lived in Munroe Falls before moving to Edinburg in 1960. Mrs. Hercsek was a member of the Edinburg United Church. She was a dog groomer.
Survivors include her son, John Hercsek Jr. of Copley; grandson, John Hercsek III of Ravenna; granddaughters, Tracy Susan Riffle of Edinburg, Michelle Grubb of Littleton, Colo.; great-grandchildren, Hannah Riffle of Edinburg, Izabella Hercsek and Nathan Moore, both of Ravenna, Kaitlin Grubb of Little ton, Colo.; and a sister, Delores Fairhurst of Charlestown. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hercsek Sr.; brother, Tracy; sister, Laura; and twin sister, Viola.
Interment will be at Edinburg Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Portage County Animal Protective League.
