NAFZIGER, Christina Peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Stratford General Hospital, on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Dan W. Erb (1989) and the late Ira Nafziger (2008). Loving mother of Nancy (Harold Wagler), Margaret (Peter Kuepfer), Delmer Erb (Mary), Harold Erb (Marie), Daniel Erb, Sandra Erb, Shelley (John Erb), Sheila (James Jantzi), Denise Bannerman, son-in-law Melvin Roes (Marietta) and step-mother of Calvin, Twila, Joyce, Leslie, Lucille, Carol, Bonita, Robert, Sara, Shirley, Cynthia, Yvonne and June. Dear grandmother of 34 grandchildren and 84 great-grandchildren. Will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law, Jessie Jantzi, Thelma Jantzi, Annie Ropp, Annie Martin, Mary Zehr and Amy (Norman Zehr). Predeceased by her daughter Mary Ann Roes (1992), her parents Michael Jantzi and Barbara (nee Gerber) and her adoptive parents Joseph Gerber and Mary (nee Wagler), her grandson Nathaniel Erb and grandson-in-law Ronald Steckly. Christina was the last surviving member of both her Jantzi and Gerber families as well, she was a faithful member of Fairhaven Amish Mennonite Church. Family and friends may call at Fairhaven Amish Mennonite Church, 4186 Line 61, Poole, on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Faith Mennonite Church, Kingwood, on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 1 p.m. Bishop Melvin Roes officiating.
