ABNER, David Wayne Age 47 of Millville passed away suddenly at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Thursday, December 27, 2007. He was born in Middletown on December 2, 1960 the son of Gary Wayne and Mable (Dean) Abner. David was employed at M. Bohlke Veneer for the past 26 years. A 1978 graduate of Edgewood High School, David collected toy trains and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching sports. On June 30, 1984 at the First Church of God in Hamilton, he married Julie Anne Campbell. He is survived by his wife, Julie Abner of Millville; his children, Robert James Abner, Elisha "Eli" Wayne Abner, Kayla Anne Abner, all of Millville, and David Andrew Campbell of Hamilton; his parents, Gary and Mable Abner of Somerville; sister, Kathy (Richard) France of Batavia; grandmother, Volina Dean of Middletown; mother-in-law, Gail Campbell of Hamilton; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Dean, and Elisha and Gertrude Abner. Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at 1:30 P.M. with Dr. Keith Gebhart, Pastor of First Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 1:30 P.M. www.browndawson.com
