He married, secondly, Hon. Caroline Leigh, daughter of Chandos Leigh, 1st Baron Leigh of Stoneleigh and Margarette Willes, on 18 August 1857.
He was also known as Frederick Benjamin Twisleton.
In 14 February 1849 his name was legally changed to Frederick Benjamin Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes by Royal Licence.
