Emily Wingfield was born in 1798 in Wexford, Wexford, her father, Richard, was 36, and her mother, -Isabella, was 29. She married Reverend Frederick Benjamin, 10th Baron Saye and Sele Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes on 2 June 1827 in Cheriton, Kent. They had five children during their marriage. She died on 20 June 1837 in Bedfordshire at the age of 39, and was buried in Adlestrop, Gloucestershire.

1827 Fiennes married Emily Wingfield, daughter of Richard Wingfield, 4th Viscount Powerscourt, and had the following children:

Emily died in 1837, and in 1857, Aug 18th Fiennes was married for a second time, to Caroline Eliza Leigh (1825–1909), #85754608 daughter of Chandos Leigh, 1st Baron Leigh.

His descendants include the explorer Ranulph Fiennes and actors Ralph Fiennes, Joseph Fiennes and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin (Hero Beauregard Faulkner Fiennes Tiffin (/faɪnz/; born 6 November 1997) is an English actor, model and film producer. He is known for his starring role as Hardin Scott in the After film series. He portrayed 11-year-old Tom Riddle, the young version of the antagonist Lord Voldemort (who is played by his uncle Ralph Fiennes), in the film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince).
