She was the daughter of John and Mary (Stevens) Burke. This family came from Bedford Co., Virginia. They later migrated to Washington Co., Scott Co. and then possibly to Lee Co., Virginia before settling in Pike Co., Kentucky around 1833. Burke is sometimes spelled Burk.
Lucy married first to Reuben Anderson on Feb. 9, 1824 in Scott Co., VA. She was the mother of about 10 children. She married second to Abraham Cantrell on Feb. 23, 1848 in Letcher Co., KY. According to the 1850 Census Abraham's occupation was "B. Minister", probably Baptist Minister.
Lucy died sometime after 1870 and is buried in Pike Co. If anyone knows where, please advise.
