LIMESTONE – Linda G. Edgecomb, 72, wife of Reginald W. Edgecomb Sr., passed away Tuesday evening, Feb. 21, 2012, at her residence, after an extended illness. She was born Jan. 7, 1940, in Fort Fairfield, daughter of Franklin G. "Sonny" and Olive M. (Russell) Griffeth.

A lifelong resident of Limestone, Linda graduated from Limestone High School, class of 1957, and was married to Reginald W. Edgecomb, Oct. 25, 1958. Linda had been a member of Limestone United Methodist Church for more than 50 years where she served on the board of trustees, and also was a member of Red Hat Society.

Mrs. Edgecomb played an active role in family farm operations, was a wonderful cook and a lover of all animals. She will be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and sister.

In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by one son, Reginald W. Edgecomb Jr., April 2, 1998; and one daughter, Darci D. Edgecomb, March 6, 2002.

Interment will take place at Advent Cemetery, Limestone.
