Lebo-Shepard A. Doty, who lived west of Lebo died at 4am this morning in the Newman Memorial County Hospital, Emporia. Born near Neosho Rapids March 17th, 1871, he married Bernice Lyon in Lebo, December 19th, 1893 He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mabel, and one son, Harry, of the home; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Hendrickson, of Escalante Forks, Colorado; and one brother, Marcus Doty of Delta, Colorado.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Thursday in the Lebo Methodist Church with burial in the Lincoln Cemetery. The cakset will be open Wednesday afternoon and evening at the Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Shepard A. Doty, who died Monday, were held at 2:30 pm Thursday in the Lebo Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. C.L, Harder, pastor. Donald Bailey sang, accompanied by Mrs. K,R. Hunter. Pallbearers were Ralph Gunkle, E.J. Edwards, M.L. Bailey, Walter Briggs, Omer McCormick and J.G, Williams. Burial was in the Lincoln Cemetery,
