Mrs. Mattie "Lade" Williamson, age 78 of Lyons, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after an extended illness. She was a native of Toombs County and lived in Emanuel County most of her life. She was employed at Globe Manufacturing for many years and retired as a supervisor from Federal Pacific. She was a member of the Lyons Free Will Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, Barnie C. Williamson; her parents, Thomas and Mattie Lee Meeks Williamson; two sisters, Lucky Carey and Eula Ennis; and a great-grandson, Duncan Coursey.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 20th at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Williamson Cemetery in Toombs County.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00 until 9:00.
