Mrs. John Temple, Former Nurse, Dies. Mrs. John J. Temple, 57 years old, 1881 John street, a lifelong resident of Muskegon; and a practical nurse here for many years, died Sunday at her home after a long illness. Born May 19, 1888, in Muskegon, where she attended school, she was a member of the Gospel hall, Muskegon. Formerly Miss Jennie Balk, she was married to John J. Temple in Muskegon, Aug. 19, 1909. She leaves her husband; one daughter, Miss Alberta Carolyn, a student nurse at St. Luke hospital, Chicago; one son, Jack B. Temple recently dischargedfrom the U. S. Army; the mother, Mrs. Katie Balk, Muskegon; one brother, Fred Balk of Fruitland township; and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Boden, Muskegon and Mrs. Bert Wieten, Laketon township.
