Funeral service for Mary Edith Moore, 80, will be Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Freeman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in Bell Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Moore died Friday, February 17, 2012 at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born April 17, 1931, in Morgan County to Robert Lee Nelson and Maggie Nichols Nelson. Mrs. Moore was a retired employee of Falkville High School as a lunchroom worker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Moore; a daughter, Patsy Moore Bagwell and a grandson, Jason Hudgins.
Survivors include one son, Ronald Moore (Bree) of Florida; two daughters, Diana Hargrove (Terry) of Hartselle and Sandra Hudgins (James) of Falkville; one brother, Elton Nelson of Cullman; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
