Ruth C. Williams, age 91, of Murphy, NC passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 in Union County, GA.
She was a native of Jackson County, NC and the daughter of the late Frank A. and Mamie McCoy Cabe. Ruth was a homemaker. She was a member of the New Martins Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred A. Williams; three brothers, Wayne Cabe, Eugene Cabe and JC Cabe and one sister, Ruby Dietz.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy, NC. Eulogies will be given by Fred Williams and Jim Williams. Music will be provided by Tim Harris. Burial will be in the New Martins Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The graveside service will be conducted by Robert Williams citing the 23rd Psalm. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
