Alvarizo Higgins died at his home in Greenbush Thursday evening, Oct. 14. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon, Rev. Mellott officiating. The interment was made in the Greenbush cemetery. The immediate cause of his death was heart failure.
He was born in Vermont and was past 73 years. He came to Greenbush in 1860, where he lived up to the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife, and five children. They are; Geo. A. Higgins at Lamartine, Royce Higgins in Kansas and Frank at home; and Mrs. J. Smith of Wahington. The oldest daughter resides in Vermont.
