Services for John W. Tollison, 68, who died Sunday at his home, will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, The Rev. Darryl Herren and the Rev. Milton Adams will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.Mr. Tollison was a native and lifelong resident of Baldwin County. He was a retired farmer, and a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.Suevivors include his wife, Mrs. Dovie Tollison, of Hardwick, four daughters, Mrs. Mary Daniel of Macon, Mrs. Robert Youngblood and Mrs. Irvin Garland of Milledgeville, and Mrs. Ernest Batchelor of Deveraux; seven sons, Marion W. Tollison, Harold Tollison, and Robert M. Tollison, all of Milledgeville, John W. Tollison Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., Harry Tollison of Macon, Sgt. Roy M. Tollison of the U.S. Army stationed in Korea, Spec. 4 Cecil J. Tollison stationed in the Far East. The body will lie in state at the church from 3 p.m. until the funeral hour. Berry-Martin Funeral Home of Milledgeville is in charge.
