Dovie Nolan Tollison, 89, died Friday in a local hospital.

A lifelong resident of Baldwin County, she was the widow of John William Tollison. She was a retired employee of Green Acres Nursing Home and was a member of the Foster Grandparents Program and Mount Pleasant Church.

Survivors:

-children: Mary Daniel of Musella, Sarah Batchelor of Sparta, Lois Youngblood, Frances Garland, Roy Tollison, Jerry Tollison and Robert Tollison, all of Milledggeville, Perry Tollison and Harold Tollison, both of Macon and John Tollison of Ivey

siblings: Clara Frazier of Milledgeville, Mrs. Jessie Quinn of Atlanta and James Nolan, Wilmington, Delaware

-25 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.


Services: Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Baldwin County. Burial: The church cemetery. The Revs. Mike Bell, Milton Adams and Buford Tanner will officiate. Visitation: The body will be placed in the church an hour before services. Williams Memorial Chapel in Milledgeville has charge of arrangements.
