Perry A. Tollison passed away May 1, 2006. Funeral services
will be held 11:00 am Thursday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, Rev. Joe Williams will be officiating.
Mr. Tollison was born in Baldwin County to the late John and Dovie Tollison. He was a member of Parkway Assembly of God. He was retired Master Sargeant in the Army and the Army National Guard, where he served extensively in 48th Brigade as a paratrooper and a sharpshooter. He served during Korea, and Vietnam in countries such as Germany, Japan, and Korea, and had many achievements and honors during his years of service to his country.
Mr. Tollison was a proud Daddy, Grandaddy loved baseball cards, comic books, coins, beany babies, and collected stamps.
Mr. Tollison is survived by two daughters, Teresa Warren (Tom) of Macon, Lisa Smith (Jerry) of Macon; son Tim Tollison of Macon; sisters Lois Youngblood of Milledgeville, Sara Batchelor (Bud) of Sparta, Frances Garland of Milledgeville; brothers, Roy Tollison (Tammy) of Milledgeville, Harold Tollison of Centerville, Jerry Tollison (Connie) of Milledgeville, Robert Tollison of Milledgeville, and James Bell (Della) of McIntyre, Ga,; three grandchildren, Brian Lance Tollison, Cody Jesse James Warren, Jesse James Thomas Warren; special family and friends, Patsy Evans, Kathy Grant, Bonnie and Mike Barron, Trina and Richard Mathews and Shannon Barron; many nieces and nephews also survive.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Wendell Lamb, Richard Tompson, Brian Blazek, Trey Alexander, and John Tanner.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Wednesday evening in the funeral home, and may be contacted at the residence of Patsy Evans, 6405 Carey Dr. Macon, Ga. 31216.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Central Ga. 3780 Eisenhower Dr. Macon, Ga. 31206.
