Shawna Shawntay Pierce, 47, of Grubbs departed this life Thursday, February 9, 2012. She enjoyed baking, playing games on the computer and listening to country music.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mary (Hallmark) Adams; two brothers, Charles and Tommy; eight infant brothers and sisters.

Her survivors are her husband, Frank Pierce of Grubbs; four sons, Daniel Drabbant of Newport, Troy Drabbant, John Drabbant, Dwayne Parker all of Springfield, Missouri; eight brothers, Lawrence Adams of Beedeville, Allen Adams, Edward Adams, Benny Adams, Lloyd Adams, Douglas Adams all of Grubbs, Jimmy Adams, Terry Adams both of Oil City, Louisiana; three sisters, Freda Thorton, Uvel Williford, Wilma Tubbs all of Grubbs, two grandchildren, David Hancock and Tonya dDickey of Newport.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2012 at Ballews Chapel.

Visitation will be 10:00-10:30 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2012 at the Funeral Home.

Officiating will be Noyal Jones.

Pallbearers will be Henry Brownfield, James Jones, Dennie Brownfield, Derik Cagle, Tim Helms and Jason Bennett.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dalmus Helms and Johnny Ray Ball.
