Carthel Allen Adams, 65, of Weiner departed this life Monday, March 17, 2014. He was born December 18, 1948 to Charlie Lawrence and Mary Louise (Hallmark) Adams. He was of the Church of God belief and enjoyed fishing and yard sales.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers; Charles Adams and Tommy Adams, one sister; Shawna Pierce, and eight infant siblings.

His survivors are seven brothers; Lawrence Adams of Beedeville, Jimmy Adams of Oil City, Louisiana, Edward Adams of Grubbs, Lloyd Adams of Grubbs, Benny Adams of Grubbs, Terry Adams of Oil City, Louisiana, and Doug Adams of Grubbs, three sisters; Freda Thornton, of Grubbs, Uvel Williford of Grubbs, and Wilma Tubbs of Grubbs, and one Aunt; Ruby Whitney.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Ballews Chapel Cemetery.

Burial will be in Ballews Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10:00-12:00 Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Dillinger Funeral Home.
