DORTHA BELL Malin,77,of Waltonville died 5:45p.m. March 10,1998,at her home in Waltonville.She was a cook at the Waltonville Grade and High Schools for several years and later was a private sitter for the elderly until failing health.Mrs. Malin was born May 7,1920,in Jefferson County ,a daughter of John and Cora (Hughey)Harvill.May 22,1937,in Jefferson County,she married Byford R.Malin,who survives.Gravside sevices will be 11a.m. Friday at Wolf Praire Cemetery with the Rev.Paul Copeland Officiating.Those attending the graveside services on friday morning are asked to go directly to the cemetery.Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Hughey Funeral Home.Mrs. Malin is survived by her husband.Byford R. Malin of Waltonville :one son,Tom Malin and wife Audrey of Nason;three daughters,Lenda Scott and husband Daniel of Waltonville,Anita Kisner and husband Marvin of Mt.Vernon and Phyllis Davis and husband Don of Mt.Vernon;17 grandchildren.Randall Scott,Michael Scott, Jeffrey Scott, Raena Scott,John Scott.Kim Loker,Kenneth Kisner,Jr Duncan,Tony Duncan,Beverly Davis,Tommy Malin,Tammy Malin,Timmy Malin,Leslie Page,RichardJohnston,Melissa Johnston and Chris Johnston;22 great-grandchildren.Alicia Randi,Hallie,Brandon.Jesse,Jason,Brad,Kristin,Deric,Jessica,Ashley,Mikey,Hillary,Josh,Karlisa,Jeremy,Kyle,Anthony,Nicklas,Leah,Hannah,and Tyler:and one sister,Mary Lou Jester and husband James of Mt.Vernon.Mrs. Malin was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter.
