Mary Lou Jester, 84, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at SSM Health DePaul Hospital St. Louis, in Bridgeton, Missouri. She was born Sunday, September 20, 1931 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to parents, John A. and Cora Ann (Hughey) Harvill. She was married to James W. Jester and he preceded her in death on May 8, 2014. Mrs. Jester is survived by her son: Ed Jester and wife Mary Beth of Morgantown, West Virginia, three daughters: Brenda England and husband Steve of Woodlawn, Illinois; Karen Schubert and husband Dale of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and Joann Willmore and husband Tom of Mount Vernon, Illinois, nine grandchildren: Chris Jester; Kari Walters and husband Charlie; Michaela Morgan; Stephanie Griffin and husband John; John England and wife Tori; Michael Schubert; Robert Schubert and wife Olivia; Trevor Schubert; and Mary Jo Thompson, and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers: George and Tom Harvill, and two sisters: Dortha Malin and Ortha Telford.
