He was the son of Ezekiel Moses and Martha Ann Campbell Rhea.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ida Mae Rhea of Thrall. Four daughters: Mrs. Quilla Mae Ischy of Georgetown; Mrs. Blanche Davis of Madison, Illinois; Mrs. LaVerne Holland of Denison; and Mrs. Phern Matthes of Blessing. Five sons: Oscar Milton Rhea of Round Rock; Alton Walker Rhea and Cecil Jay Rhea of Thrall; Orville Wayne Rhea of Austin; Edgar Boyd Rhea of San Marcos. Three sisters: Mrs. Mary Starnes of Georgetown; Mrs. Cynthia Anderson of Canyon, Tx.; and Mrs. Laura Buckner of Elida, N.Mex. Three brothers: Oscar Rhea of Austin; Will Rhea of Tahoka; and Albert Rhea of Terrell.
Funeral services were held at the Condra Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Walter Vogas of Thrall officiating. Burial was in the Odd Fellows (IOOF) Cemetery in Georgetown.
Note: Edgar Milton Rhea married Ida Mae Walker October 25, 1906. They were married in the Tucker settlement near Georgetown, Texas, by Rev. Franklin Baker. They had 10 children and lived in Williamson County, Texas.
