Last Rites Held for Orville Wayne Rhea
Funeral services were held here Monday afternoon, July 27, at 3 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home for Orville Wayne Rhea, who died at an Austin hospital after an extended illness. The Rev. Jan A. McMurry, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiated. Burial was in the Oddfellows Cemetery.
Orville Wayne Rhea was born April 29, 1914, and was 39 years of age at the time of his death. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. E.M. Rhea of Liberty Hill; four brothers, Oscar M. Rhea of Round Rock, Alton W. Rhea of Georgetown, Cecil Rhea of Houston, and Edgar B. Rhea of Liberty Hill; four sisters, Mrs. Quilla Ischy of Georgetown, Mrs. Lenora Davis of Madison, Illinois, Mrs. Ivey Holland of Glendale, Arizona, and Mrs. Ida Matthes of Blessing.
