King's History of Maries County indicates that Sarah "Eliza" Harrison was the wife of Noah Giesler Sr, and that she was the sister of William, Lewis, and Tyree Harrison of Maries and Phelps County, MO. It is not yet known who her Harrison parents were; their mother was simply known as the "Widow" Harrison. Genetic Genealogy Y-DNA testing is currently pending on a direct male descendant of this line (through one of Sarah's brother's descendants) to hopefully determine if there is a match to any of the other Harrison lines living in the area at this time period, whose descendants have been DNA tested to participate in the Harrison DNA Surname Project Study. Noah and Sarah (Harrison) Giesler were the parents of several children. It is not known for certain where Sarah and her husband Noah are buried, however it is likely that they are at Rock Spring Cemetery in Maries County, MO. Many of Noah's Giesler kin are buried there, including a number of his siblings and their spouses and children. Many Harrison kin are buried there as well. Rock Spring Cemetery is a country graveyard that has many unmarked graves. Some were marked only with field stones with no inscriptions.

Noah Giesler and Sarah Harrison were married on 14 October 1839 in Crawford County, Missouri. Their marriage record appears in Marriage Book A, page 55. A copy of it can also be found online at Ancestry.com. During the course of their married life they lived in Crawford, Phelps, and Maries Counties. Sarah Harrison Giesler outlived her husband, as she appears on the 1880 Census as a widow at age 61, living in the household of her son William Giesler in Johnson Township, Maries County, Missouri. She does not appear on the records after that, so it is believed she died between 1880-1885.
