when he was 5 years old, he immigrated with his family, aunts, uncles and cousins from Gibraltar to Spain on the SS ORTERIC, where his twin brother died of Measles and was buried at sea.
In 1921, he moved to California with his family. He never married. He rode a bicycle all his life and died at the age of 77 after a car hit his bicycle and his injured leg became infected beyond help. He died of cardiac arrest, we believe as a complication from the infection.
