They had 4 children (Teodora, Felisa, Jacinto and Celestino). In 1911, they traveled with her husband's brother and sister and their families to Gibraltar and sailed to Hawaiian sugar fields on the SS ORTERIC, where their twin son, Jacinto, contracted Measles and died (buried at sea).
They lived in Hawaii until they sailed to California about 1921 and lived in Oakland area. She shares a grave plot with her husband and remaining son, Celestino Martin Silvan.
