Nancy Elliott was the d/o Andrew and Lucy Elliott. She married Jacob Van Gorder Jr on October 13, 1825. They owned a grist mill and saw mill along the banks of the Slippery Rock Creek. They had 9 children: Alexander Elliott, Israel, Margaret Jane, Louisa, Almira Maria, Alvi Stevenson, Robert Sample, James Allen and Nancy Belle.
