Mrs. Harold Cook - Mrs. Harold Cook, R.R, 1, Stratford, died on Wednesday of last week at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital she was 69.
The former Ida Wilhelm, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wilhelm and was born July 23, 1859 [2 Jul 1899], in North Easthope Township. She was a member of North Easthope Reformed Mennonite Church.
Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband to whom she was married March 5, 1919, in New Hamburg. Also surviving are two sons, Harold and Stanley, both of Kitchener; a daughter, Mrs Albert (Ellen) Lefever, Kitchener; two brothers, Joseph R. Wilhelm, Shakespeare and Hardie Wilhelm, North Easthope Township; four sisters, Mrs. Moses (Magdelena) Rupp, Brunner, Mrs, Wesley (Barbara) Groff, RR 3, New Hamburg, Mrs. Charles (Anna) Fink, Lisbon, and Mrs. Gideon (Sarah) Steiner, Pandora, Ohio, six grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.
Funeral service was held at the North Easthope Reform Mennonite Church, with burial in the church cemetery on Saturday.
Futher Brothers Funeral Home, Wellesley, was in charge of arrangements.
