Later she married Edward Jeffree and the two of them came to America in the early 1850s settling in Virginia City NV. She died Sept. 21st 1901in Virginia City at age 84 and was laid to rest in the family plot in the Virginia City Cemetery. She shares a grave stone with her daughter Mary E. Jenkins 1850-1913]
[Rickards also made up a completely fictional person: Edward Thomas Jeffree Sr. was born in Cheshire England April 21, 1816. He later married Miss Mary Cooper (Date unknown) They had 3 children and moved to America in the early 1850's were Edward worked as Shoe & Saddle maker in Virginia City NV. Edward was the last of his family to pass on dying Dec. 28th 1918 at age 102 in the Carson City Hospital of the Spanish Flu during the great panademic of 1918-19 His body was sent to Virginia City for burial in the family plot, but being there wasn't anyone left in his family to mark his grave his grave has remained unmaked since then.]
