Neal died suddenly at age 88, in his own home. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard 1943-1946, maintaining telephone lines & patrolling beaches of Oregon & Washington. He was a graduate of Oregon State College, & married Evelyn Carol Pederson in 1951. They relocated to California in 1958 where he worked at McDonald Douglas & Aerojet on several missile programs--the Thor & Titan series. Later he worked for SMUD & Rancho Seco Nuclear Power Station, retiring in 1990. Preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Evelyn; survived by his children: Carol(David), David(Lisa), Edward(Tania) & Donald. He had 7 grandchildren, & 1 gr-grandchild. He enjoyed studying Genealogy.
Celebration of his life: Feb 11, 2012, 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery.

His father was Clinton Marcellus "Charles" Brown, son of Civil Veteran, Ptolema P. Brown and his wife Martha Womack Brown.
