Obituary: Lillie Mae Brown of Coos Bay died Monday, June 30, in North Bend, Mrs. Brown was born Oct 7, 1885 at Keating, MO. She was a resident of the Coquille and Yachats areas for over 30 years before coming to Coos Bay. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert Plieth of Yachats; sons, Neil Brown of Sacramento, Calif., and Fred B. Brown of Oregon City; and eight grandchildren, including Jean Davidson of Coos Bay and Ivis Schauer of Newport; and five great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday, July 2, at 10 a.m. in the Coos Bay Chapel of Campbell-Watkins Funeral Homes with the Rev. Malcolm Turkington of the Charleston Community Church officiating. Private concluding services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park.
