Ephraim Elijah Morris "Uncle Mossy" Wright was born to John Beard Wright and Syntha Waycaster Maddox. He married Bertha Mae Townley at a young age and they had three children. Sadly, after the birth their third child, Bertha died. Left with three preschoolers he married Musella Goldsmith from his church and they had a son and within 6 years of that marriage, Uncle Mossy was dead. His 2nd wife Musella lived less than 6 more years and at her death her son was raised by her mother and the three children of Bertha had already been sent to the Macon's Childrens Home for orphans.
His death occured at the age of 39 years, 11 months, 1 day. His death was attributed to tuberculosis.
