Bio and Links

I was born and raised in San Diego but have lived in Charlotte, North Carolina since 1990. I became a genealogy addict when I was about 18, way back in 1972.

I enjoy taking digital photographs of tombstones and assisting others with their research. It's a good thing.

My mother is from McDowell County, NC; research names area are: ALLISON, AUTREY, BIDDIX, DALE/DEAL, GLANDOWN/GLENDOWN, MCHONE and WACASTER/WAYCASTER.

My father is from Des Moines, Iowa, and my HOWARD ancestors came to Polk County from Marion County, Indiana, but were all born in Montgomery County, Ohio. In addition to HOWARDs, on my dad's side I am also reseaching these names: BEEDLE, DWIRE/DWYRE, MELLOR, REEVES and RING.

I am always willing to transfer memorials to family members within FAG guidelines and to make corrections as needed. Please do so via the SAC tab for that memorial and include your ID number as it makes the process a lot easier!
