I live in Charlotte, NC, and have been working on the genealogy for my mother's family, surname PARNELL, from the Steele Creek area in Charlotte. I've not had any formal training in genealogy, but I think I'm doing rather well! My problem is I only do the research in spurts--sometimes months go by before I pick up the project again.

I will be glad to assist other searchers by taking photos of graves in cemeteries in Charlotte, Gastonia, Belmont, Mt. Holly and possibly other areas close by. I'm new to this site, so I'm not quite sure yet how to upload photos, but I'll do my best!
