Albert Buck "Jr.", 76, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012. He was born in Hutchinson, May 2, 1935, the son of Albert McKinley and Oleta Faye Hamblin Buck.
He was a 1953 graduate of Partridge High School, a member of Loyal Order of Moose #982, a member of Sons of American Legion Post #68 and was a carpenter for many construction contractors in the Hutchinson area. He had been married to Shirley Darlene Waddle.

Survivors include: his children, Kim Strawn of Nickerson, Kristi Wineinger and Kendall Buck, both of South Hutchinson; three sisters, Luleta Willis of South Hutchinson, Lorraine Warnken and husband Dave of Hutchinson, Connie Wise and husband Kenny of Grove, Okla.; two brothers, Alvin of Hutchinson Alfred and wife Cheryl of South Hutchinson; four grandchildren, Tyler Buck, Chelsea Buck, Kiley Strawn and Kenzy Strawn; and special friend, Jean Osborn of Hutchinson. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Richard, Robert, William and Arnold; a sister, Annabelle Watts; and two sons-in-law, Wayne Strawn and Wayne Wineinger.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at South Hutchinson United Methodist Church, with Pastor Tim Ault-Duell officiating. His urn will be interred at Abbyville Cemetery. A register book will be available to sign from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Loyal Order of Moose #982 or to South Hutchinson United Methodist Church.
