Son of Albert M. and Oleta Hamblin Buck.
He was a member and past governor of Moose Lodge No. 982 and belonged to American Legion Post No. 68, both of Hutchinson.
He was a US Army Air Corps and veteran of World War II.
In January 1942 he married Christina Cole, divorced and in 1952 he married Edna Mae Liener Withrow.
Children: two sons, Dennis R. and Larry K. and two daughters Shelley and Tammy.
